Education & Experience

An International Education in Business, Sustainability & Fashion

I graduated with a Master’s in Sustainable Fashion Management from SUMAS in Milan, Italy, a city where fashion, innovation, and sustainability naturally intersect. Studying at one of the world’s first universities dedicated to sustainability gave me a strong foundation in the systems shaping fashion, business, and environmental responsibility. Being based in Europe also allowed me to closely observe how sustainability regulations are evolving and being implemented, which gave me a clear understanding of how to support companies as they navigate these changes. The program covered key sustainability frameworks such as the GRI, the CSRD, and the UN Sustainable Development Goals. I also gained familiarity with the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), which guides companies in aligning emissions reduction goals with climate science, and developed a strong understanding of supply chain complexity, including how to evaluate environmental and social impacts across Tier 1, 2, and 3 suppliers and account for emissions across Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3. In parallel, I explored forward-thinking approaches such as regenerative design, cradle-to-cradle principles, and zero-waste systems. My focus has been on understanding the full sustainability landscape, from material innovation to supply chain impact, and helping brands implement solutions that are both responsible and future-focused.

Before this, I earned my Bachelor of Science in Integrated Business from the University of Central Florida, where I developed a strong foundation in marketing, supply chain management, and business strategy. My passion for problem-solving and innovation grew through projects that tackled real-world business challenges, preparing me to think both critically and creatively.

Exploring Sustainability Through Research & Strategy

Through my master’s program, I conducted in-depth brand analyses and developed strategic sustainability initiatives with real-world impact. Some of my key projects include:

International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) Research -As a Student Researcher, I explored the role of Nature-based Solutions (NbS) across fashion, manufacturing, and agriculture to assess their potential for climate mitigation, biodiversity protection, and community resilience. My work involved identifying high-impact investment opportunities and recommending strategic focus areas for the IUCN to strengthen its engagement with private sector stakeholders. The research emphasized how NbS can be integrated into value chains to support both environmental outcomes and sustainable business practices.

Spotlight S.C. - In collaboration with my classmates, I developed a comprehensive sustainability strategy for Spotlight S.C., an Italy-based lighting company specializing in entertainment and architectural solutions. We created a full-scope plan, identifying opportunities to embed sustainability into every aspect of their operations, from supply chain to marketing. Our recommendations are now being used to transform the company into a more sustainable business.

Ralph Lauren Sustainability Strategy Project - Developed a strategic sustainability proposal for Ralph Lauren focused on enhancing supply chain transparency and reducing environmental impact across operations. The project outlined three actionable solutions aligned with the brand’s sustainability pillars, targeting water conservation, energy efficiency, and sustainable material use. Strategies included ensuring greater accountability and traceability across Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers, along with addressing Scope 3 emissions. The proposal was supported by relevant case studies and included implementation timelines to guide measurable progress and reinforce long-term brand value.

Chloé & Patagonia Case Studies - Examining how these industry leaders incorporate sustainability into their business models, supply chains, and brand messaging, with a focus on how these efforts contribute to long-term brand equity, consumer trust, and competitive positioning. The research also examined the balance between purpose and profitability, as well as how transparent practices can enhance authenticity and drive sustained brand value.

Khy: A Fictional Sustainable Collection - Conceptualized and developed a sustainability-focused collection for Kylie Jenner’s fashion brand, Khy. The project emphasized the use of certified materials, low-impact dyeing methods, and a marketing strategy aligned with the brand’s voice, bringing sustainability and accountability into focus while maintaining its signature aesthetic.

Rivesto: A Circular Fashion Model – Created a conceptual circular fashion platform that redefines resale by integrating sustainable clothing options tailored to customer needs. The model focuses on extending the lifecycle of garments, promoting responsible consumption, and reducing waste in the fashion industry.

Professional Experience Across Industries

Blending experience in marketing, sustainability, and real estate, I’ve developed a strong understanding of how brand positioning contributes to long-term growth and business performance:

Sustainability Consultant, Astor & Orion –Led the development of a new sustainability-focused Shopify page, restructured web copy for clarity and impact, and conducted an SDG alignment analysis. Through this work, I gained a deeper understanding of how ethical factories operate and what to look for in verifying responsible production. This experience helped strengthen Astor & Orion’s sustainability positioning and supported the brand’s submission to UN-affiliated sustainable fashion conferences.

Real Estate Broker – As a real estate broker working with a portfolio of 1,000+ properties, I gained experience in data-driven strategy, client relationships, and brand positioning. I conducted risk assessments, identified value opportunities, and helped define KPIs to support performance tracking and strategic decision-making. This experience deepened my understanding of how clear metrics and cross-functional collaboration contribute to long-term business growth.

Marketing Coordinator at Primera Plastic Surgery – Led content strategy and digital marketing efforts focusing on SEO, social media, and email campaigns. This role deepened my understanding of how to build authentic brand engagement online and deepened my interest in the beauty industry. Through hands-on experience optimizing landing pages, crafting targeted messaging, and refining visual content, I became especially drawn to how digital strategy can elevate beauty brands and connect with audiences meaningfully.

Marketing Intern at Auritas SAP Consulting – Created and managed website content, digital outreach, and B2B marketing for campaigns reaching 50,000+ participants. This role sharpened my skills in effective communication and introduced me to platforms like Salesforce, Pardot, Constant Contact, Excel, and WordPress. It sparked my interest in digital marketing and gave me a solid foundation in using data and content strategy to drive engagement in a business setting.
